3x9x is an electronic lp abt a guy named al (from divided, remember!), doing a self-discovery journey after a painful breakup with his friend, alvaro.
later, tho he does find out what he really is (an independent artist), al realises there was a lil equation waiting to be solved by him, all along.. js to 'dictate' who he is. the answer he found was 0 and he thought he was nothin', so then he realizes sometimes, loneliness will never die.. even when trying to get used to it. so...
yes, the two friends (al and alvaro) get back together!!
it ties together with the optimism of the last track.

al and alvaro end their friendship for the 2nd time, bc al has been spending more time with milk than with alvaro. al sees it as jealousy, but alvaro still breaks up with him.. at a gourmet restaurant.
02. almost there!

al refuses to accept the breakup at first and describes the pain like being underwater, BUUUT the song shifts from determination and optimism to smth hollow as he tries to move on and act unfazed.
- "i gotta climb those stairs!” becomes his push toward moving on.
- the glitchiness of the outro already sets the album's emotional AND experimental tone

this interlude captures the “melancholy after the storm.” al is left sitting with the emotional aftermath, quiet and reflective, as the album briefly slows down.

features: my lines and some from teto
al wanders off to do.. whatever tf he wants, then he spots a strange barefoot girl described later in st4lker as 'a ghost of white shining lights' (and is gahata meiji). curious but kinda uneasy, he walks away, which pushes the story into a more mysterious (and dark) direction.
- this is the first appearance of the girl later tied to “st4lker.”
- "mita" literally means "watch" in jp
- the four dots might be related to the track's position in the tracklist—track 4.
05. st4lker
pop / hyperpop (with industrial sfx)
features: kasane teto, gahata meiji and meeee
kinda the first vocaloid song of this album ig
al's now convinced that the girl from “mita…” is stalking him (in the internet), while teto tries to push back on his paranoia and tell him he’s js hallucinating. al eventually emails meiji, accusing her of 'dirty games', but she insists she only wanted to help him and turns the blame back on him.
- teto later sends al an equation in a letter that becomes crucial to the album's story.
- one of the lyrics, 'sharing in the net, nobody understands' is a reference to internet venting.

this track resolves the conflict from “st4lker.” al apologizes to meiji and finally admits defeat, folding in the album’s math theme through the idea of a 12° acute angle.

features: nothin' but a 'turn it up!' line
the darkness clears for a lighter, sillier self-remix of an earlier track. al teaches himself how to dance and let loose, tryna show a more sillier side :3

al thinks seriously about whether to begin his self-discovery journey, feeling like a fool after “almost there!”. he steps away from the screen and back into nature as a metaphor for trying to move forward beyond the breakup.
- nature here symbolizes distance from the friendship loss—not js being a reference to divided, my sophomore album that is also abt nature -_-
09. ROCKETLIKE!!

al tries pushing toward taking his first real step in self-discovery, like a rocket launch. the momentum rises, but the overall happiness.. doesn’t last into the next track.

al begins to feel sensory overload and dizziness, setting up the next track. it acts as a brief but important bridge into a more intense phase of the album.
- “memai” literally means dizziness in japanese omg
11. PARALAX EFFECT

this track is where the overstimulation from memai fully hits. the sound design itself becomes part of the story, growing more chaotic—but still melodic btw—until it finally 'ends' and gives way to the next song.
- the track’s roughness was supposed to be intentional, and it proves that the album's sound designing is supposed to have 'ups and downs'.
12. the bluetooth device is ready to pair!

al tries reaching out to a stranger online, hoping to connect the way a bluetooth device would. he doesn’t succeed, so he returns to his desktop and prepares to confront his identity more directly.
- the title turns internet memes (the song was originally a demo/meme song) into an emotional metaphor.

al realizes he is an independent artist and rejects a corporate deal that could turn his work into a product. this is also the first song where oliver appears as a secondary singer, making the track a major turning point.

this is the direct resolution to “undefined”: al tries to 'paint' something colorful and prove the suit guy wrong, leaning into creative freedom and a more defiant sense of self.
- the title references a rushdown records compilation!!!

al creates a beautiful canvas, but no one sees it, including his friend. he and alvaro drift apart into regret and loneliness, realizing too late how much they miss each other.
- the song centers on regret and loneliness.
- ugh the track's probalby the WORST one in the album. piento, did u forget to use a metronome?

al receives teto’s letter and discovers the equation that gives the album its title. he solves it and gets 0, which triggers an existential crisis as he believes he has no purpose anymore.
- teto’s letter contains the album’s defining equation.
- it also reveals teto as the true antagonist in the story.
- i named the song "bluwbluwskaii" bc thats how eng words are separated in cvvc delta eng phonemes (or at least its what i thought it was like that), bc this song was originally gonna feature teto, but i changed my mind so i chose olie and jonloid to be in the song too

al learns that alvaro came to his house that same day, and both finally apologize properly. they admit the breakup hurt them both and decide they need to make peace and get back together.

al decides to reject logic as a source of validation and embraces a more rebellious, free approach to identity. the album closes the divided arc, once and 4 all, by affirming that numbers can’t define a person or calculate human feelings (take that pythagoreans!!!!!), bc the friends have chosen each other once again (instead of individuality).
- i named this track bc 120 is my fav number, besides that 120 is a tempo highly used in house tracks (which this song isnt house music ofc)
note: in each single, except the vip version of 'wavechord' and "the bluetooth device is ready to pair!" (or tbdirtp for short), there are like two songs that are in the album AND close to eachother (so this is why some songs like mita and the album title track dont have singles of their own)
